PUKEKOHE BRIDE

WILSON—SMITH The marriage of Miss Sarah (Cynnie) Smith, daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. M. Smith, of pukekohe, to Mr. Joseph Henry Wilson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. "Wilson, of Pukekohe. took place at St. Andrew’s Church, Pukekohe, recently. The vicar, the Rev. J. P. Cowie, officiated. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. A. McLean, wore a french model frock of ivory embossed chenille georgette, fashioned with long sleeves and a double tiered skirt draped to one side to form an uneven hemline. The frock was finished with a silver spray at the waist and shoulder. Her veil was of tulle embroidered in silver and was held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms, and fell in cascades over her shoulders to form a train. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses, sweet peas and asparagus fern. There were two bridesmaids. Miss Anna Smith, a sister of the bride, and Miss Edith Holland. They wore frocks fashioned alike of lettuce green and daffodil satin respectively, with silk lace overdresses, falling in graceful lines to form an uneven hemline. Both frocks were finished with shoulder posies of velvet .and silver. Their butterfly headdresses we're of tulle, and they carried shower bouquets of pink and autumn tinted flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. A. Parker, of Auckland, as best man. and Mr. J. Smith, brother of the bride, as groomsman.
