DEATH DUTY PAYMENT
GOVERNMENT TO CONSIDER ACCEPTING LAND (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 11.45 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. In the House of Commons, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Philip SnoAvden, in answer to a question : said he would consider whether it would be in the public interest to permit the Government to accept land in payment of death duties.
