WILD DASH DOWN HILL
LORRY OUT OF CONTROL ONE MAN SEVERELY INJURED Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. A lorry travelling on the Packakariki Hill yesterday afternoon got out of control. Its three occupants jumped for safety, but one of them, Horace Wainwright, a labourer, of Pahautanui, struck a post and was severely injured. The lorry dashed over a bank and came to rest across a fence. YYainwright’s injuries include a fractured shoulder, a wound in the left leg and wounds on his head and shock.
