H.M.S. WAKAKURA TO DOCK. —At 5.15 a.m. tomorrow H.M.S. Wakakura and the naval target are to go into Calliope Dock for cleaning and painting. MAIMOA FOR HOME. —At daylight tomorrow, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Maimoa, now completing her loading at Wellington, leaves for London, via the Cape Horn route. CANADIAN TRANSPORTER SAILS. — At 7.35 o'clock this morning the Canadian National Steamship’s vessel Canadian Transporter cleared port for New York, Boston, and Montreal. NEWTON PINE DUE. —With phosphates from Casablanca for discharge at Auckland, New Plymouth and Wanganui, the steamer Newton Pine is due here toward the end of this week. Henderson and Macfarlane will act as the local agents. NIAGARA FOR SYDNEY. —The local office of the Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Niagara is due at Auckland next Monday from Vancouver, via wayports, and is announced to sail again at 5 p.m. the following day for Sydney. KAIAPOI FOR NEW ZEALAND. —The local office of the Union . Company has been advised that the steamer Kaiapoi is scheduled to leave Melbourne on Friday for Hobart, where she completes her loading for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Auckland. MARAMA AND MAHENO. —The Marama, from Wellington, and the Maheno, from Auckland, arrived at Sydney at 6 a.m. and 6.30 a.m. today respectively. Both vessels leave Sydney on Friday, the Maheno at noon for Wellington, and the Marama at 3 p.m. for Auckland. They are both due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning. CITY OF SALISBURY SAILING.—In continuation of her voyage from New Y'ork, the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer City of Salisbury, now discharging at Auckland under the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company, is to leave here on Fridas* for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. MAHIA TO COMPLETE. —A. S. Paterson and Company advise that the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Mahia leaves Napier tonight for Gisborne and Auckland to complete her loading for America and England. She is due here on Saturday*, and is expected to clear this port finally on July 16 for New York, Boston and London, via Panama. HERON EXPECTED TOMORROW.— The Shell Company expects that the tanker Heron, inward bound from Tarakan, Borneo, with a cargo of fuel oil, will arrive at Auckland tomorrow afternoon. A radio message from her as to the time of her arrival is expected at any time. The Heron will be putting out her cargo at Auckland and at Wellington. KING GRUFFYDD REPORTS. —The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has received further radio advice that the King Line steamer King Gruffydd is now expected to arrive at Auckland at two o’clock tomorrow morning from Antwerp. She will later berth at the King's Wharf to land the local portion of her basic slag before proceeding to New Plymouth to complete. KENT DELAYED. —Advice has been received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Federal steamer Kent has been delayed at Gisborne, and now leaves there on Thursday for Auckland to complete her loading for Home. She is due here on Friday evening, and is announced to sail finally from this port on July 16 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via Panama.
TAHITI AT SYDNEY.—The Royal Mail liner Tahiti reached Sydney from Wellington yesterday. The vessel is scheduled to leave Sydney again on Thursday and Wellington next Tuesday on her return voyage to Rarotonga. Papeete and San Francisco. DANGER TO SHIPPING. —The Marine Department advises that as a result of the Mokihinui River breaking through the slips, caused by the earthquake, there is a great amount of debris, including timber, at the mouth of the river near Westport, and warnings have been broadcast advising ships of the danger. PORT GISBORNE DUE.—The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company advises that the Commonwealth and Dominion Dine motor-ship Port Gisborne is scheduled to arrive from New Tork about Tuesday next. She has case oil and general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. SCHOONERS HU IA AND Plßl.—After unloading explosives from Melbourne at Queensland ports the Nobel auxiliary schooner Huia was to leave Brisbane for Grafton yesterday to load Australian hardwood for Auckland. The auxiliary schooner Piri is loading explosives at Melbourne for Greymoutii, Westport and Auckland. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO SERVICE.— The Waitemata, from Pacific Coast ports, via Auckland, arrived at Wellington on Sunday and leaves tomorrow for Melbourne and Sydney. The Waihemo, from Pacific Coast ports, arrived at Napier on Sunday, thence to Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. The Hauraki, from British Columbia ports, arrived at San Francisco on Sunday, and is due at Los Angeles tomorrow. She clears Los Angeles on July 13 for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, and is due at Auckland on August 3. The Waiotapu, from Vancouver and New "Westminster, was to clear Ocean Falls yesterday for San Francisco and Los Angeles to complete loading for Papeete, Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney. She clears San Francisco on July 14 and Los Angeles on July 17. The Wairuna left Auckland on June 26 for Vancouver direct, where she is due on July 22, and proceeds thence to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Papeete. Napier. Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Waikawa, from Port Kembla, was due at Suva on Sunday morning and proceeds thence on July 20 to Vancouver, where she is due on August 10. TOFU A RETURNS. —The Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua (Captain Duncan McDonald) returned to Auckland last evening from the Western Pacific Islands, and berthed at the Queen's Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. Generally moderate weather was experienced until Sunday morning last, when she ran into a westerly gale which lasted for about eight hours. She cleared Sydney at 12.30 p.m. last Friday and experienced fair weather until nearing the New Zealand coast, when she encountered southerly winds and swells. PORT ALMA AT COLON.—En route from London to New Zealand the Commonwealth and Dominion Line motorship Port Alma is reported to have reached Colon last Saturday. The vessel has general merchandise for discharge at Wellington, Auckland and New Plymouth. She is scheduled to reach "Wellington on July 26 and Auckland about a week later. Pleather. Roberton, Limited, is the local agent. HORCRATA ARRIVING.—A further radio message received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the steamer Plororata is expected to arrive at the powder grounds at four o’clock this afternoon from London. After landing explosives, the vessel comes up to Auckland to discharge her local cargo, before proceeding to Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymoutli to complete. Arapawa, due at Onehunga tomorrow from Westport, sails at 3 o’clock on Thursday afternoon for Hokianga. Hauturu has been delayed, and is now due at Onehunga tomorrow morning from Hokianga. At 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon she sails for Waikato Heads, Kawhia and Raglan. Hokianga arrived at Onehunga this morning from Hokianga, and is to sail at 3 p.m. tomorrow on her return trip. Ngapuhi, due at Onehunga at 7.30 a.m. tomorrow from New Plymouth, leaves at 3 p.m. on Thursday on her return trip. Regulus is expected at Onehunga on Friday morning from Nelson to load for Picton, Nelson and West Coast ports.
