AN IMPOSING STRUCTURE.—Apart from the huge building, 316 ft by 85ft, at present under construction on the waterfront for the housing of the seaplanes and flying-boats, there is also a big hangar for land planes at the Hobsonville base (100 ft by 65ft). It is a most imposing structure and faces an ideal landing field which features a runway of 600yds in any direction.
