PUPILS’ TRAM PASSES

The distribution of tramway-passes school children is to be discussed Rt a conference this week between Mr. J. A. C. AHum, chairman of the Auckland Transport Board, and the educational authorities in Auckland. The question was raised by Mr. M. J. Coyle at the Transport Board meeting today when he remarked that the Education Board apparently thought some difficulty would arise by having the passes distributed by the school authorities. He asked if the manager tad any other suggestion to offer. Mr. Allum replied that he was meeting the authorities controlling the principal institutions, including th® Education Board, on Thursday in an endeavour to arrive at a solu 1 tion.
