TRANSPORT BILL

DRAFTING COMPLETED CABINET TO APPROVE (THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Monday. Although there has been considerable activity by members with private Bills, some of which have gone through their first readings, there has been little doing with regard to public Bills so far. It is believed, however, that the Transport Bill has now been drafted, and will be ready for submission to the House of Representatives soon. It is not yet known whether Cabinet has considered the measure yet. The Minister of Transport, the Hon. W. A. Veitch, said in reply to a recent deputation that the Bill was almost ready. Now it appears that the work has been finished.
