Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board to introduce a Local Bill into Parliament during the present session thereof, under the name of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Amendment Act, 1929. The object of the said Local Bill is to repeal Section 55 of the “Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1905,” relating to the payment to the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board by contributing bodies of their respective assessments and of interest on overdue instalments, and making better pi'ovision for securing such payment and interest.
