DUTCHMAN DEFEATS JOE WRIGHT (United P.A. — By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) LONDON, Saturday. At the Henley regatta, the final of the Diamond Sculls resulted:—Gunther (Holla.nd) beat Joe Wright (Canada), by 3ft. Time, 8m 425. In the Grand Challenge Cup race the Leander Club beat Thames Club by two lengths, in 7m. Last year at Henley in the final for the Grand Challenge Cup, Thames Rowing Club beat First Trinity, Cambridge, in 6m 565. In the Diamond Sculls, J. Wright (Argonaut Rowing Club, Canada), beat R. T. Lee (YY’orcester College, Oxford), in Sm 245. Lee won the race in 1927.
