Child's Body Found Buried in Garden

DISCOVERY AT WAIMATE YOUNG MAN CHARGED Press Association TIMARLT, Today. The body of a female child has been found buried in a private garden at Waimate. At the Timaru Magistrate’s Court to-day, a young man, Lomond Kennedy, who was arrested on Saturday, was charged that, on or about February 4, 1927, at Waimate, he did dispose of the body of a dead female child with intent to conceal its birth. On the application of Senior-Ser-geant Gibson, accused was remanded to Waimate on Friday, bail being allowed accused in his own bond of £3OO and two sureties of £l5O each.
