BUS DRIVER FINED £2O
LICENCE SUSPENDED DROVE WHILE INTOXICATED Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. As the result of a collision between a railway bus and a stationary lorry on the evening of June 27, Thomas Corcoran, driver of the bus, appeared in the Wellington Magistrate’s Court charged with being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-vehicle, and also on a charge of dangerous driving. After the evidence of Dr. Pattie, Bus-Inspector Randall and several passengers had been given, accused, who is no longer -with the Railway Department, was fined £2O and costs, and was suspended from driving for 12 months. He was allowed a fortnight in which to pay the fine.
