BIG BONUS ISSUE
BREWERIES MAY CREATE NEW CAFITAL INCREASE TO £750,000 Notices of a proposed distribution of reserves by the creation of new capital in the New Zealand Breweries, Ltd., are reported to have been posted to shareholders. JT is reported that the proposed scheme is a bonus issue of shares of one in two, which will increase share capital by £250,000, making the total £750,000. It is also proposed to convert debentures into shares in the proportion of one in two, less 400,000, which will be bought back by the company. The new issue will represent £300,000.
