“PATRIATA” SHOES

SOLID MAKE, LATEST IDEAS The person who buys “Patriata” shoes is not only getting a good pair of shoes but is helping forward an industry which employs a large and increasing number of New Zealanders. The factory where "Patriata” shoes are made has been established since 1885 and is now by far the largest boot and shoe factory in Auckland. The management is thoroughlv versed in every possible phase of boot and shoe making, and the present organisation can easily, be developed to employ double the number of workers and double the output. The only thing needed is the will of New Zealanders to ask for shoes made in New Zealand by highly* trained New Zealand employees. If there were this increased demand for New Zealand-made boots and shoes, one can easily imagine what increased employment there would be. and what increased openings for our own boys and girls leaving school. The best of it is that the New Zea-land-made shoe, such as the “Patriata," is a first-class product. For one thing shoes made in the Dominion are made of all solid leather, as there Is a regulation which requires footwear in whiclf “compo” is used to be so branded. Also, “Patriata” shoes aro worked by the same machinery used overseas, and the styles and fashions are kept up-to-date with the latest ideas in patterns and colours from the great world centres in Paris and London.
