Nellie Bramley has now put" in 56 weeks in Brisbane, and declares it is her intention to remain there for a further three years. “Rio Rita” was such a success in Wellington that the season was extended for a week. Auckland will not see this Puller production until the beginning of August. nr m * A big Auckland audience was given a taste of the perfect singing of the Kentucky Jubilee Singers on Thursday evening. The season opens at His Majesty’s Theatre this evening. The voices are magnificent. • • • When the J. C. Williamson all-star vaudeville company visits New Zealand —it will commence the Dominion tour on Wednesday, July 17 —it will be found to consist of the very best in artists and original presentations, There will be musical and dancing turns; sketches, farcical, comical and dramatic; some of the latest London and Continental offerings, and many of the special features for which the vaudeville companies of J. C. Williamson have now become famous.
