Crawford, of Morrinsville, are leaving on a trip to England and the Continent and will leave Wellington on the Corinthic. u •> * Mrs. and Miss Stitt, of Wellington, are on a visit to the Auckland Province, and are at present the guests of Mrs. William Howie, at Morrinsville. Miss Hell, of Wellington, Girl Guide Deputy Commissioner for Mrs. W. R. Wilson, of Auckland, is in Hamilton at present. On Thursday night she inspected the various companies from Hamilton and surrounding districts.

BENEFIT DANCE

COMMITTEE ORGANISES SUCCESSFUL EVENING FOR MR. F. S. RABBIDGE A very enjoyable dance was arranged in the Crystal Winter Garden in honour of Mr. F. S. Rabbidge, of Ponsonby. The committee which was responsible for the successful organisation of the dance consisted of Mrs. L. Ivenny, Mr. J. Lewis, Miss C. Turner. Miss M. Vercoe, Miss M. Davies and Miss M. Yeo. WAIKATO NOTES

Mrs. A. E. Mulgan, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. Ziman, in Cambridge, for a few days. Mrs. M. A. Moorhouse, Misses I. Moorhouse and J. Moorhouse, of Cambridge, were recent callers at New Zealand House in Mrs. W. Stokes and Mrs. St. Clair Ingles, of Hawke’s Bay, who have been visiting Mrs. S. Simmons in Hamilton, left today for New Plymouth and Palmerston North.
