MORNINGSIDE TUNNEL

NO DECISION REACHED (THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Friday. No decision has yet been made by the Government regarding the Morningside tunnel, according to the answer given to a question today by the Minister of Railways, the Hon. W. B. Taverner. Mr. H. G. R. Mason (Auckland Suburbs) asked if a decision on the tunnel had been reached, and when an announcement would be made. The Minister: The question is now receiving the attention of the Government. I am unable to say anything at present.
