The All Black halfback Dailey is not available for the first test against Australia tomorrow, and Lilburne will captain the side at halfback. The team is: Fullback—Nepia. Threequarters—Geddes, Stringfellow, Carleton, Waterman (one to be omitted). Five-eighths—Oliver, Hook. Halfback —Lilburne. Forwards —Cundy, Snow, McWilliams, Rika, Sonntag, Reside, Reid, Cottrell. WELLINGTON PLAYER SAILS FOR SYDNEY Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. It was announced this afternoon that E. T. C. Leys, of Wellington, had been selected to go'to Australia in response to a call for another player to join the New Zealand Rugby team. Leys, who was the Wellington halfhack against Taranaki at Hawera yesterday, will leave by the Marama for Sydney tomorrow.
