COASTAL MOVEMENTS— Awahou is expected to return to port from the East Coast on Sunday. She is to be dispatched for Hicks Bay, Tokomar u Bay and Gisborne at 5 p.m. on Tuesday next. Canopus, Westport Coal Company’s collier, may sail from Westport for Auckland tomorrow night. Efforts are being made in this direction. Coronation leaves for Awanui at noon tomorrow. Claymore is expected from Whangarei at 3.30 o’clock tomorrow morning. She is to be dispatched for that port again at 7.30 p.m. on Sunday. Golden West sails from Auckland at three o’clock this afternon for Wellington, via Lyttelton, to complete her discharge of Pacific Coast cargo. Gunbar did not sail last evening. She is now to leave Auckland this afternoon for Gisborne, Napier, and East Coast bays. Hauiti is arriving from Kerepeehi at 11 o’clock tonight, and is leaving for Piako at 12.30 p.m. on Monday.

Katoa left Lyttelton at 5 p.m. yesterday, via Wellington, for Auckland, where she is due on Monday. After discharge here, the vessel loads here, and sails next Tuesday for Wellington Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru.

Kaimanawa, which left Auckland last evening for Portland, is loading cement there today for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.

Kaituna left Whangaroa at 7.30 p.m. last Wednesday evening for Greymouth, to complete her loading for Sydney. Kawau, expected from Waiwera, xvxahu rangi and Warkworth at 30 p.m. today, is scheduled to leave for Waiheke at 1.45 o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Margaret W. should arrive from Gisborne during the week-end, and is scheduled to sail at noon on Tuesday next for that port again. Motu sails for Awanui and Waipapakauri at noon tomorrow. Omana is fog-bound at Matakana, and is now expected to return to port at 10 o’clock tonight. Pono was scheduled to sail for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu at noon today. Pukeko cleared port yesterday afternoon for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa. ltangitoto, due from Coromandel at 9 o’clock tonight, is to sail for Thames at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Ronaki, sailing for Tauranga at noon tomorrow, is to arrive back at 7 a.m. on Tuesday next. Scot sailed yesterday afternoqn for. Waipu. Her next departure for that port is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday. Tiroa arrived early this morning from the East Coast and berthed at King's Wharf. At liQon on Tuesday next she is to leave for Hicks, Tolaga and Tokomaru Bays. Taniwha, due from Paeroa at 1 a.m. tomorrow, is announced to sail on the return trip at 11 p.m. on Sunday. Waimea arrived at Napier this morning, and sails this evening for Auckland, where sho is due on Sunday. Waipiata, from Bluff and Dunedin, left Oamaru at midnight last night, via Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington, for Auckland. Wingatui sailed from Auckland yesterday afternoon for Napier, Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru. Waitemata left here last evening for Wellington, thence Melbourne and Sydney, to land the remainder of her Pacific Coast cargo. Waiotahi is returning to port from Great Barrier Island at 6 o’clock this evening. Waiotahi is to be dispatched for Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha at 6.30 o’clock tonight, and is due back at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
