AGAIN REMANDED
DALMATIAN CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER
WILL APPEAR ON MONDAY
Charged with committing mandaughter by killing Arthur Ludwig at Auckland on June 24, Thomas Niaich made his second appearance In a crowded Police court this morning.
VIZICH, a boarding-house keeper, *' aged 35, was remanded on the application of Chief-Detective Hampond until Monday. Mr. Allan Moody asked for the reM wal of bail which was granted as before in two sureties each of £2OO. .Viaich was arrested on the afternoon of June 24 following an affair in Victoria Street, which culminated in .jie death of Arthur Ludwig, a fisherman. Ludwig was said by witnesses to have been quarrelling with Nizich when, either through being pushed by •he Dalmatian or by some other means, ho fell to the pavement, where he lay unconscious. An ambulance was soon on the scene, but the man died on the roy to the hospital.
