GRAND AND LYRIC

NEW PICTURES TOMORROW The double feature programmes which have been shown at the Grand and Lyric Theatres during the past few days will be screened for the last time this evening. The pictures at the Grand are “A South Sea Bubble” (Ivor Novello) and “Not Quite Decent” (Louise Dresser), and at the Lyric “Very Confidential” (Madge Bellamy) and “Not Quite Decent” (Louise Dresser). Entirely new programmes will be shown at both theatres tomorrow. “The Rescue,” a vivid tale of the Java Seas based on Joseph Conrad’s story, will be the principal attraction, with Ronald Colman and Lily Damita as the stars. “The Manxman,” which will also be shown, stars Carl Brisson in Hall Caine’s well-known tale of the Isle of Man.
