KILLING OF WIFE

HUSBAND IS ACQUITTED OF MURDER ACCIDENTALLY SHOT SYDNEY, Tuesday. At the Sydney Criminal Court today Martin Antin, a railway worker, aged 42, was charged with the murder of his wife. May Antin, who was found shot at her home at Bankstown on May 10. They had been separated since Christmas. Antin was found not guilty and discharged. He said in evidence that his wife threatened him, and he attempted to frighten her with a revolver. She threw a chair which struck the revolver. It was accidentally discharged, and killed her.
