FORGERY ADMITTED
MAN SENT FOR TRIAL (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Today. A plea of guilty to a .charge of forging a cheque for £l3 12s 6d in the name of D. E. Berge, of Rotorua, and uttering it to Lionel B. Harvey, of Hamilton, was entered by a young man, William Agustine Pagan, of Christchurch, in the Police Court today. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Further charges pending include forgery at Auckland, and alleged false pretences at Reefton, Ashburton, Napier and Nelson.
