“OLD OFFENDER”
WOMAN VAGRANT GAOLED Pleading guilty at the Police Court this morning on a charge of vagrancy, Mabel Stout, aged 35, was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. According to Senior-Sergeant O’Grady she was an old offender and was consorting with thieves and undesirables. “With the probation officer’s report before me, I agree that she should be put away,” commented Mr. F. K. Hunt S.M. imposing the penalty.
