FLOODS CLAM VICTIMS
MAM AMD WOMAN SWEPT TO DEATH GREAT DAMAGE IN N.S.W. Reed. 11 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. The North Coast floods have claimed two victims: Roy Ward, of Bangalow, who has been missing since Saturday. His horse and cart were found in 12ft of water. Jean McLean, of Codrington, who disappeared yesterday. Her horse was found drowned. The flood waters at Lismore are now receding, but many houses are still submerged and crops are ruined. The town of Codrington may have to be rebuilt.
