INFIRMARY ENTERTAINED

The Onehunga branch of the Auckland. Hospital Auxiliary lost evening entertained the Inmates of the Auckland Infirmary when a concert party visited the institution. The programme was arranged by Miss Essie Dodds, and items were given as follows:—Songs, Mrs. Wentworth, Miss Beryl Barker and Mr. C. S. Allen; pianoforte solo, Mr. Maxwell; pianoforte duet, Miss Dodd and Mr. Maxwell; trio, Masters Harper, Hewitt and Laking; violin solo, Miss Daphne Higham; Hawaiian guitar number, the Hilo-Hawaiian trio; guitar solo, Mr. Alan Porter; elocutionary items. Miss Mary Thompson and Miss Madge Horne. The accompanists were Mrs. Allen and Miss Dodd.
