LIQUIDATORS MEET WORKERS
SHAG POINT COAL MINE Press Association DUNEDIN, Monday. At a conference between liquidators and representatives of workers in the Shag Point coal mine, it was pointed out that no offer for the mine as a going concern was likely until a working agreement was reached. Delegates of workers eventually consented to the making of a new agreement identical with the old agreement for a term of two years. When the agreement is completed the liquidators will endeavour to raise capital for the formation of a new company.
