Y\ T ITH such a depleted field in the ▼ * Wellington Steeplechase, and other events at Trentham next week, a complete revision of the suggestions offered upon the appearance of the handicaps a week ago appears to be called for. For the four principal events the following horses are suggested as being likely to play prominent Steeplechase. —Nukumai, Kawini, Brigadier Bill, Matu and Radiate. Stewards’ Handicap. Black Duke. Taboo, Kaiti, BLlhkins and Takutama. Whyte Handicap—Ruanui. Bisox, Paddon, Fairy Herald and Moutoa Treasury. , Winter Hurdles. — Nukumai, Red Fuchsia, Mister Gamp, Bright Land and Overhaul. The above are given in the order in which they are listed among the acceptances.
