POLITICAL BOMBSHELL

VICTORIAN MINISTERS RESIGN CABINET DISAGREEMENT Reed. 11 a.m. MELBOURNE, Today. There was a bombshell in State political circles last night when the unexpected resignation from the Cabinet of Messrs. Menzies and Saltau, honorary Ministers, and Mr. Kent Hughes, Secretary to the Cabinet, was tendered. The reason given by the Premier was that the three differed from the other Ministers regarding the Government’s policy of spending £60,000 on the reopening of country freezing works. The positions are to be filled immediately.
