TE KUITI WINTER SHOW
SUCCESS OF FIRST FIXTURE FURTHER AWARDS MADE (From Our Own Correspondent) TE KUITI, ■today. Despite the very boisterous weather experienced in Te Kuiti during the past week, the first "Winter Show created a considerable amount of interest, and the large number of visitors to the show on Saturday was very gratifying to the promoters. The representative football match, Maniapoto v. Taumarunui, attracted many visitors to the town, and during the day and evening these availed themselves of the opportunity of in«specting the numerous exhibits at the show. The school section created a good deal of interest, the poster competition and map-drawing deserving special mention. Fancy work was also much in evidence.
