SCHOOL-HOLIDAY FARES
Railway excursion rates will prevail from August 22 to August 31, and will be available for return up to September 28. Although these fares operate during the school holiday's the reduction applies to everyone and enables many of the parents to go on holiday with their children. Some time ago the Railway Department decided to reduce all fares during the school holidays, and the scheme has proved a great success.
