SURPLUS ANTICIPATED
NEW SOUTH WALES TAXES MAY BE REDUCED SYDNEY, Sunday. The New South Wales Treasurer, Mr. B. S. B. Stevens, anticipates that the financial year which ends today will realise a surplus of £500,000, in consequence of which there is likely to be some reduction in taxation.
