THE AUCKLAND TEAM The Auckland sole selector, Mr. A. P. Neesham, has selected the following to represent Auckland against Wellington in the Football Association Trophy challenge on July 20: — Batty (Trams), Gerrard (Shore). Reid (Bon Accord), Tinker (Trams). Christie (Trams), Jones (Shore), Innes (Ponsonby), Dunsmore (Bon Accord) Spencer (Trams). Hislop (Thistle). Kay (Thistle). PUKEKOHE CROQUET CLUB (From Our Oxen Correspondent) PUKEKOHE. Saturday. The annual meeting of the Pukekohe Croquet Club was held this afternoon. Mrs. J. H. Webb presiding The balance-sheet revealed a credit of £2l on the year’s working. Officers elected were:—Patron. Mrs. W. MacPherson; president, Mr* J. H. Webb: vice-presidents, Mes* dames R. Fitness and H. J. Middle* miss; secretary. Miss J. Ramsay*, treasurer. Mrs. R. Bregman; commit* tee, Mesdames A. C. Gill, J. Blake. G. E. Nosworthy, J. J. Hart and E. EIngpen: match committee. Mesdames D. Lawrie, J. Mcßae and G. H. Armstrong: green keeper, Mr. R. Fitness; delegates to South Suburban Association, Mrs. Nosworthy and Ml* s J. Ramsay*. Mrs. Fitness and Miss Ramsay elected captains of the teams for the Ayrshire Cup competition.
