SNEAK THIEF BUSY
SCHOOL FOOTBALLERS ROBBED Some sneak thief employed his time profitably during the course of the King’s College-Auekland Grammar School Rugby match at the College on Saturday afternoon. The Grammar team was accommodated in one of the college dormitories where they stripped and left their clothes. On returning after the game it was discovered that most of the clothing had been gone through and purses containing railway and tram tickets and money had been taken. One boy is reported to have lost the sum of £1 Cs, and a -watch was also taken. Thefts from clothing at football grounds are at present fairly prevalent, and players are warned against leaving valuables in dressing-rooms.
