WASHOUT IN SOUTH
NO THROUGH TRAINS (Special to THE SUt.'J WELLINGTON, Today. A washout is reported to have ocC f!f r€< * on Saturday on the Little River of the Kaituna line, on the soutli*ide of Banks Peninsula. Water was breaking over the line between potukarara and Kaituna owing to mgn water in the lake and the heavy wind. Trains from Christchurch proceeded tuy as far as Motukarara.
