Reunion of King’s College Old Boys

Successful Dance At Middlemore King’s College, Middlemore, presented a gay scene last evening, when the annual reunion of the King’s College Old Boys’ Association was celebrated. by a dance. Miss Jean Macindoe’s orchestra provided an excellent programme of the newest dance numbers, and bridge tables had been arranged for those guests who preferred to play cards. The guests were received by Canon El. K. Archdall and Mrs. Archdall, and Mr. and Mrs. J. H. W. Roberton. Mrs. Archdall wore a gown of canton jade chenille embossed georgette, and Mrs. Roberton was in a bouffant gown of black flowered taffeta. Among those present were: Mrs. Sinclair Reid, in daffodil yellow georgette, with crystal beaded embroideiMr‘s. Arc-hdale Taylor, who wore a i gown of black chiffon velvet. Mrs. V. Maxwell, whose shell-pink ! chiffon frock was panelled with silver lace. . j Mrs. Alderton, wearing a black chiffon frock, embroidered with jet beads. Mrs. Perkins, in cameo pink embossed georgette. Miss D. Griffiths. Rotorua, in a gown of -flowered lame and cyclamen satin beaute. Miss W. West, wearing a cloth of silver gown panelled with phlox pink georgette. Miss C. Kingston, who wore a gown of bronze ring velvet. Miss Marjorie Suter, whose unevenlength frock was of hyacinth blue taffeta. Miss M. Jones, whose tiered frock was of cyclamen taffeta. Miss Maud Davidson, wearing a peach ! pink taffeta gown with petalled hem. IN CHARTREUSE GREEN Miss Connie Rainger, who wore a frock of chartreuse green georgette and lace.
