ROYAL SHOWS “WHY BE GOOD?”
Colleen Moore's latest comedy-drama. “Why Be Good?” is now delighting audiences at the Royal Theatre. Kingsland. The story, which was written specially for her, deals both humorously and seriously with the age-old conflict of ideas between present and past generations. The broadmindedness of young America, its “necking,” sensuous dancing, short skirts, hip flasks and irresponsibility, so often the subject of horrified discussion by middle age, is pictured just as it exists. Miss Moore
is seen as an upto - the - minute young working girl, whose careless attitude is tempered with a fund of common sense typical of the girls of today. The second pict u r e, “Warming Up,” is a breezy story of the American baseball game.
starring Richard Dix as a professional player.
