PAPAKURA ORPHANS’ CLUB
The fourth meeting of the Papakura i Cl ? b was . hel <l in the Paragon Theatre last evening. Vice-president Bro. J. B. Page presided, and extended a cordial welcome to the official guests or the evening, President Bro. F. A Hoskins, Vice-President Bro. Max’ Grierson, Vice-President Bro R Q Ma>% and members of the Pukekohe Orphans Club. It was decided to donate £ 3 3<? to the Mayor of Auckland’s fund for the ** th ® earthquake The official visitors for the next meeting on July 11 will be the president and executive of the Otahuhu Orphans Club. A football match will be played on Satuiday on the Railway Reserve between an Orphans’ Club team and the Papakura Club. Jufy ll ladieS ' evening will be held on The following were responsible for a splendid programme: Bros. R. G. MatMax Grierson. L. Kernot, Vic Elliot*’ and T. Fitzpatrick. ’
