CANADA WILL REFUSE TO RECOGNISE RUSSIA BRITISH MOVE RESISTED (Australian and A'.Z. Press Association) Reed. 10.24 a.m. OTTAWA, Wed. It is stated that Canada will not follow any action by Britain in renewing trade relations with Russia. In view of the sensational disclosures made in Parliament two sessions ago by the Prime Minister, Mr. W. L. Mackenzie King, of abuse by Russian Communists of the official trade channels between Canada and Russia, and of the office of the Russian Trade Commissioner at Montreal, the present Government will resist any move to restore the relations severed over two years ago.
