CHEAPER NITRATES
BRITISH AND FOREIGN FIRMS REACH AGREEMENT <Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 9.35 a.m. LONDON, Wednesday. It is announced that the Imperial Chemical Industries, the German dye trust, and Chilean interests, have reached an agreement for closer cooperation in the nitrates industry, by which agriculture throughout the world, except in the United States, is guaranteed supplies at a reduction of about 10s a ton.
