DISARMAMENT PARLEY
MACDONALD. DAWES AND GIBSON PRIME MINISTER HOPEFUL British Official Wireless &ecd. 11.24 a.m. RUGBY, Wed. The Prime Minister, Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, yesterday had a further conversation on disarmament with the American Ambassador, Mr. C. G. Dawes, during which Mr. Hugh GibB °n. who represented the United States on the Preparatory Disarmament Committee, was also present. Mr. Gibson reached London last to discuss the question with Mr. Dawes. Referring to this conversation durlaS a speech at a Labour Party gathlast night, the Prime Minister used: “J am hopeful.
