PRESENTATION TO PASTOR
MR, W. E. VICKERY HONOURED At the Church of Christ, Trafalgar Street, Onehunga, last evening, presentations were made to the pastor, Mr. W. E. Vickery, who has been transferred to the Gisborne Church. Mr. H. Callam, chairman of the Dominion executive, said that Mr. Vickery had been very successful in his four years’ ministry at Onehunga. His position would be filled by Mr. H. P. Leng, late of Wellington and Melbourne. Mr. Vickery was presented with an inscribed gold watch, a travelling rug from well-wishers at Pukekohe, a gold pencil from the Boys’ Club, and a leather book-satchel from the Young Women’s Club. Mrs. Vickery was presented with, an attache case. Mr. A. A. Creamer made the presentations on behalf of the church.
