LAW LIBRARY SOLD

STANDARD WORKS GO CHEAPLY A complete set of ITalsbury’s Laws of England, with supplements to 1927, was knocked down for £26 this morning when R. C. Carr and Son sold a law library under a bill of sale at their rooms in Swanson Street. Other sales made included 19 volumes Forms and Precedents, £9: English and Empire Digest, £l6; New Zealand Consolidated Statutes and subsequent volumes to 1927, £26; Gazette Law Reports, 30 volumes, and three unbound, £27. There was no demand for the New Zealand Statutes 1871-1906, in 36 volumes, and the auctioneer knocked them down for 12s 6d.
