REREMAI SPREAD-EAGLES ADAMS CUP FIELD PAYS LARGE DIVIDEND Once again the contest for the Adams Memorial Gold Cup resulted in a runaway victory, Reremai clearing out from the field three furlongs from home to win in hollow fashion by three lengths, returning her not too many supporters a great price. Although Reremai was backed down to second favourite in the Hobson Handicap on Saturday, when she failed in the final pinch and finished just behind the placed division, the Man-gere-owned and trained mare was not accorded much support when taking her place in the Adams Cup field.
