The first round of the Bloomfield Cup competition was played by the members of the tVaiuku Golf Club on Saturdav. the handicaps being limited to 24. ’ The results of the matches played were as follow: Duckcr beat Bloomfield, 5 and 4: Munro beat Barker 8 and 6; Colbeck beat T. Herrold. 3 and 2; Hill beat C. B. Herrold. 2 up; .Terrain beat Kidd: Howiien beat Smith: OhI.“on beat Shakespear; Barnaby beat Graham, 6 and 4.
