COURT'S LIGHT DAY
REMAND ON ASSAULT CHARGE Today being the birthday of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales, a short sitting only was held by the Police Court. Mr. P. K. Hunt, S.M., dealt with two charges of drunkenness and a maintenance case, in addition to one remand. George Watson Fletcher Richards was remanded for a week on a charge of aggravated assault against a woman at Panmure on March 5. Accused was not represented by counsel and made no application for bail.
