FELL FROM WHARF

LITTLE BOY DROWNED Press Association FOXTON, Saturday. A little boy aged eight, the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. McGee, of Foxton, who had recently come from Rongotea, was drowned in the Manawatu River this afternoon. With other children he was playing on the wharf, and attempted to jump on to a punt, but fell into the river, which is in a flooded state. Search is being continued for the body.
