RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
FINE PROGRAMMES “Kitty,” now at the Rialto and Regent," Epsom, Theatres, is the story of the marriage of the son of a wealthy society woman to a little shop girl, and the ensuing struggles of both the mother and wife for the boy’s love. The mother is determined that her son shall not associate with his wife, and resorts to unfair and untruthful means to destroy his love for her. The girl is equally determined that she shall wrench the boy from his mother’s unscrupulous hands. Finally, however, the girl wins through" and proves her worth to the m Charming little Estelle Brody has the leading feminine role, that of ‘-Kitty,” the girl, with John Stuart and Dorothy Cummings playing the other two leading roles. At the Rialto Theatre, Newmarket, a second picture will be shown entitled -King of the Rodeo,” starring Hoot Gibson. At the Regent Theatre, Epsom, the second picture will be “The Wind,” a drama of the desert, starring Lilian Gish. At both theatres the second attraction is “The Wind.” a drama of the desert starring Lillian Gish. To John Reinhardt, son of the famous Viennese composer, Henrich Reinhardt, has been assigned the hero role of Pietro in “The Climax”. Young Reinhardt, who was twice wounded in the World War, will play opposite i Kathryn Crawford.
