BANNOCKBURN ANNIVERSARY

The anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn was celebrated by the St. Andrew’s Society on Saturday evening, when a concert was held in the Town Hall concert chamber. A one-act play. “The Pie in the Oven,” with Miss L. Lugton. Mr. H. McC. Lee, Mrs. J. Budge and Mr. 30. McCrone in the cast, was produced by Mrs. Milne Hovey. 'Concert items and Highland and other dances were also given.
