HIGH-BOUNDING BROTHERS

An athletic family in Bedfordshire is becoming noted in England for its high-jumping ability. A few months ago T. P. Moll, 21 years of age, gained tho full blue at Cambridge University, and tied with his fellow Cantab A. E. Young in the Oxford and Cambridge high jump, won by C. E. G. Gordon, of Oxford, at sft Sgin. The phenomenal peformer of the family, however, is G. M. Moll, 17 years of age. Two years ago he won the English Public Schools junior high jump championship with the new junior record of sft sin. A few weeks ago, at Bedford School sports, ho cleared sft lllin, which is Sin better than the public schools open record, set up last year. At the Bedford School sports J. S. Moll, 3 5 years old. cleared sft 3iin. The youngest Moll uses the “Western roll” style of jumping, in which the American H. M. Osborn made his world’s record of 6ft Blin, whereas the elder brothers favous the “Eastern cut-off” method.
