CHURCH BROKEN INTO

SUSPECT REMANDED UNTIL THURSDAY Charged with breaking into St. Mary’s Cathedral with intent to commit a crime, Walter Hunter was remanded at the Police Court this morning until Thursday. The date of the offence was said to be June 14, and there was a second charge of breaking and entering the house of George Tanner at Herne Bay on June 7 and stealing money and tram concession cards amounting to £l3 6s 9d.
